Product Description

The ProLine® XE Polaris® GSP 100 High Efficiency power direct vent gas water heater is the high performance answer for today’s hot water needs. It can provide endless hot water* and can be used for a combination of domestic hot water and space heating.

Featuring a 34-gallon (nominal) tank and a 100,000 BTU natural gas burner, the Polaris® GSP-100 power direct vent delivers a Thermal Efficiency of 96% and a recovery rate of 129 gallons per hour. It carries a 10-year limited tank and parts warranty, and meets Ultra-Low NOx emission requirements.

The high efficiency performance of the PolarisTMmodel is possible thanks to its helical internal heat exchanger that keeps hot combustion gases in the tank longer to transfer more heat into the water. It also has a modulating burner that maintains high efficiency operation at lower input rates. The PolarisTMtank and helical heat exchanger are constructed from 444 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance without the need for an anode. The power direct vent design features an ultra-quiet blower and burner to minimize noise.

Rebate and incentive programs provide cash-back to consumers for the purchase of appliances that meet certain energy efficiency standards. Often, these standards are tied to the ENERGY STAR® certification program.
